About Us

Researcher
David Kaswan
My name is David Kaswan. I am in 10th grade, and my family is from Venezuela. I have great interest in anything STEM-related, as my passion is driven by the need to find out where things come from, how they work, and how I can use this to create and improve the current technology for the benefit of humanity. Since I was little, I have always asked what something is or how it works, and my parents have always had trouble answering my questions. I used to take coding classes and even went to coding camp once, but that was just the start of my pursuing of interests. Last year, I worked on an automatic tourniquet project and worked on anything that had to do with the actual building, coding, and designing of our product. I built the circuits, designed the 3d models, put the parts together, and overall, most of the physical aspects of our project. This year, our project aims to generate electricity from floating docks, and I have been much more involved in market research, specifically with our target users and the experts of our product. Additionally, I have researched the theory of our product, and I have also helped in the formulation and the future implementation of it. Ultimately, I plan to pursue my Engineering career and attend college for this, getting a decree, and ultimately making it my living, either by working at a company, or by creating my own product that I can sell to others.

Researcher/Website Designer/Marketing
Yonatan Ben David
My name is Yonatan Ben David, and I am a 10th student at David Posnack Jewish Day School. Three years ago, I moved to the United States from Israel, but my passion for innovation started long before that. From a young age, I was drawn to reading, especially about inventions and business. In fifth grade, a book about the Wright brothers sparked a dream in me, to create something meaningful and transformative. Since then, I began designing websites and coming up with ambitious product ideas, I've been driven by a deep passion for entrepreneurship and innovation, constantly on looking for new markets and industries to explore.
This year, I took on key roles in developing our product, including website design, brand development, market analysis, and social media management. Every challenge became an opportunity to learn and grow, deepening my passion for bringing ideas to life. Looking ahead, I aspire to create something truly groundbreaking, something that will revolutionize an industry and leave a lasting impact.

Lead Engineer/Coder/Researcher
Lior Kliksberg
I am Lior Kliksberg, I have 3 siblings and have attended David Posnack Jewish Day School for about a year and a half. Ever since I was little I loved building things out of all types of materials such as paper, cardboard, wood or even 3D printing. I loved building mechanical things that could move because I just loved the idea that I could give myself anything I could imagine. This is why I became so interested in engineering and decided to join my school's engineering program. Once I joined I became a proud member of the Termite Terminator Team where I had to contribute in many different ways for the success of my group. I was given the role of lead engineer meaning I was in charge of designing and creating the prototype along with writing the necessary code. Although those were my main responsibilities I also contributed by planning the business aspect, researching how to actually create our product and its effects on termites, along with actually testing the prototype.
